Connor Dewar was drafted in the 3rd round (92nd overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild. He was the only prospect in the organisation to be called up for the Canada Russia Series.
His representative team, Team WHL have finished their two games with Team Russia in the CIBC Canada Russia Series. They came away with a win and a loss.
In notching an assist (one primary, one secondary) in both games and being named as an assistant captain for the Canada Russia Series, it’s safe to say that the Minnesota Wild could potentially have found a third round gem.
