It’s a miracle! Since the Minnesota Wild fired head coach Mike Yeo and hired John Torchetti as the interim head coach, they have found themselves on a two game winning streak on their trip to Canada. I’ll admit I was skeptical of their possible success under Torchetti. He has been an interim coach and assistant in the NHL before sporting a losing record throughout his coaching career.
I don’t know whether it was firing coach Yeo, Charlie Coyle saying they don’t have time to waste in an interview, the Captains stepping up, locker room and bench atmosphere changing or all of the above that got the Minnesota Wild going again but I like it.
