ANAHEIM, Calif. -- A few days off did little to cure the Wild's scoring woes.
The Wild followed a rare three-day break in the NHL schedule with another loss, their eighth in the past 10 games, a decision that came in similar fashion to so many before it.
Even after ending their goalless drought, which spanned more than 126 minutes and all or parts of four games, the Wild were unable to build on an early lead and fell 3-1 to the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night.
With a power play that went 0 for 3 and is now 1 for its past 32, the Wild lost their fifth straight game, each in regulation.
