A new local television series and website will focus year-round on hockey in Minnesota.
The series, "State of Hockey," premieres on FOX Sports North Thursday around 9 p.m. following the Wild postgame show.
It will run twice weekly from November through March. Episodes will include a roundtable of former NHL players who now coach high school hockey in the state, an update on Jack Jablonski and regular features on the role of hockey in Minnesota life.
The website, stateofhockey.com, includes news, scores and standings for hockey throughout the state, from youth to college levels.
