The Minnesota Wild, along with the rest of the National Hockey League, don’t even have a start date to the 2020-21 season set in stone yet, but one thing is for sure - the “Lizard King” will not be part of opening night. The Athletic’s Michael Russo tweeted today that Wild winger Mats Zuccarello will undergo surgery on his right arm to alleviate a torn ligament suffered sometime last season.
Season hasn't started, and the #mnwild already have a significant loss.
Right wing Mats Zuccarello won't be ready for the start of the season and may be out a good bit longer after having right arm surgery a few weeks ago.
