Finnesota just got stronger. The Minnesota Wild and Erik Haula agreed to terms on a two-year contract beginning with the 2015-16 season.
Haula, 24 (3/23/91), recorded 14 points (7-7=14) and 32 penalty minutes (PIM) in 72 games with Minnesota in 2014-15, adding one goal in two playoff contests. The 5-foot-11, 188-pound native of Pori, Finland, made his NHL debut in 2013-14, totaling 15 points (6-9=15) and 29 PIM in 46 games with the Wild, adding seven points (4-3=7) in 13 playoff games. Haula totaled 124 points (42-82=124) in 114 games during three seasons with the University of Minnesota (2010-13).
