Charlie Coyle notched two goals and Devan Dubnyk stopped 30 shots en route to a huge Wild victory to open the home schedule in front of 19,096 amped up fans.
The Wild and Blues played a mostly even period to open the game. The Wild had the edge in shots and both teams traded scoring chances. Then with 21 seconds remaining in the 1st period, Coyle made an absolutely fine play to get the puck through two Blues defensemen and lifted a backhander over the glove of Blues goalie Jake Allen.
