Charley Walters: Chuck Fletcher's Wild need no enforcers

The Minnesota Wild have entered the season devoid of an enforcer. That's by design.

"We're not a team that will fight a whole bunch this year," general manager Chuck Fletcher said Saturday. "The last couple years, our game has kind of evolved to become more of a speed team. We try to be physical by using our speed to force mistakes.

"We're certainly willing to take a hit and give a hit, but we're not a team that's looking to fight. We have guys that can and will do it from time to time, but we want to play to our strengths, and our strengths are that we are a fast team, we move the puck well, and we want to pressure and play in the offensive zone.
