When news broke that the Minnesota Wild were moving on from Paul Fenton as general manager it sent shock waves across the league. Fenton made some questionable moves throughout his first year, but nobody was expecting him to get his walking papers after just one year of steering the ship.
It turns out that Fenton wasn’t going to win any “the most liked in the office” awards at 199 W Kellogg Blvd. The Athletic’s, Michael Russo highlighted the storm that was brewing within the Wild front office.
A man that had every right to be irked by the way Fenton went about his business is Jason Zucker.
