Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson came up limping late after rolling his ankle in the second quarter of the team's home game Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
The Vikings' star RB looked for a second like he was going to walk it off on the sidelines, but he was forced to head to the locker room with the offense still on the field following the two-minute warning.
Backup RB Jerick McKinnon scored a touchdown later on the drive on which Peterson was injured.
Per a team announcement minutes after he headed to the locker room, Peterson is probable to return.
Stay tuned for more information as it's made available.
