NFL Free Agency starts on today, and the next few days will feature several Minnesota Vikings rumors. While free agency doesn't officially start until Wednesday, Monday and Tuesday are "legal tampering" days. That means teams can discuss contracts with any player, although a deal can't be signed until Wednesday afternoon. With that in mind, here are a few of the more interesting rumors and news tidbits on the Vikings.
Vikings Land OG Alex Boone
Minnesota missed out on Keleche Osemele, but they did land another free agent offensive guard.

The contract is reportedly a four-year, $26.8 million deal.
Vikings Miss Out On George Iloka
The Bengals will keep safety George Iloka, a player the Vikings badly wanted.
For #Bengals and S George Iloka, it's a done deal. 5 years, $30M with $18M over the first 3 years. Cincy players often play them all out.

The Vikings have former Bengals DC Mike Zimmer as head coach, but his presence wasn't enough to land Iloka. Safety remains a need for the Vikings.
Vikings Cut Wallace
The Vikings announced that they cut WR Mike Wallace. The move saves the team $11.5 million in cap space. Some of that money was spent on OG Alex Boone, and the Vikings could look to the draft to replace Wallace.
