The 2017 NFL Draft is complete and the Minnesota Vikings have already landed a few coveted undrafted free agents. NFL teams start trying to sign these UDFAs the second the draft ends, and sometimes even sooner, although all of the moves typically won't officially be announced for a few days.
While most UDFAs end up being little more than camp bodies, there are players that make the 53-man roster each season. The prospects all went undrafted for a reason, but they all have the potential to make it in the NFL in some role. And sometimes, teams strike gold with an Arian Foster or Tony Romo.
We have every player the Vikings have signed below. We've also included a brief write-up about the more notable additions.
Tashawn Bower, DE, LSU
Dylan Bradley, DT, Southern Mississippi
Aviante Collins, OL, TCU
Nick Fett, OT, Iowa State
Caleb Kidder, DE, Montana
Wes Lunt, QB, Illinois
Sam McCaskill, DE, Boise State
Terrell Newby, RB, Nebraska
Josiah Price, TE, Michigan State
Horace Richardson, CB, SMU
R.J. Shelton, WR, Michigan State
Shaan Washington, LB, Texas A&M
Eric Wilson, LB, Cincinnati

Bower didn't play a lot in LSU's stacked defense, but he has some upside. He might be a project for Mike Zimmer who gets a practice squad spot.
Collins is a good athlete, but will still likely be a guard in the NFL. He needs plenty of work, but could become a swing guard as a backup.
Wes Lunt and Terrell Newby have some name recognition, but likely are camp bodies only. Lunt doesn't have the upside to justify keeping on the roster as a No. 3 QB, while Newby is caught in a numbers game at RB.
The two Michigan State players, Josiah Price and R.J. Shelton could be potential practice squad players. Perhaps better QB play than what they had at Michigan State last year will benefit them. Still, they're long-shots.
Eric Wilson might have one best shots of anyone to make the roster because of his special teams ability. He's a safety-turned-inside linebacker whose NFL position isn't all that clear. Perhaps he can carve out a role a special teams ace and/or sub package linebacker.
