Zimmer: Bradford Out For Lions Game

Moments ago, Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer announced what most of us were suspecting:

Even with Sam Bradford missing his third straight game, the Vikings have a high level of confidence in Case Keenum. They are 1-1 since Keenum took over the reigns at QB, and last week against the Buccaneers he had the best game of his career, throwing for 369 yards, three TD’s, and no interceptions as Minnesota smoked the Bucs 34-17.

In his career, Keenum has started twice against the Lions. Last year, with the St. Louis Los Angeles Rams, Keenum had his previous career best game, going 27/32 for 321 yards, 3 TD’s, and one interception in a 31-28 Lions win at Ford Field.
