NASHVILLE -- While the Minnesota Vikings try to win with former backup quarterback Shaun Hill starting against the Tennessee Titans, they'll hope to slow down Marcus Mariota without their top cover corner.
Xavier Rhodes, who was downgraded to questionable on Sunday morning because of a knee injury, is inactive for this afternoon's Vikings-Titans game, meaning 2015 first-round pick Trae Waynes figures to get his second career start at right cornerback. Waynes, who started against the Arizona Cardinals last December, should be opposite Terence Newman on Sunday.
The Vikings also won't dress wide receiver Jarius Wright, who has slipped down the team's depth chart after signing a four-year contract extension before the 2015 regular-season opener.
