The Minnesota Vikings have a lot of work to do before the official roster cutdown deadline at 3 PM today.
As of Tuesday morning, Minnesota had 73 players on their roster, meaning they needed to make moves on 20 players (assuming no one else was added) to get down to the magic number of 53.
Well, the team’s first move of the day involved WR Trishton Jackson. According to a report from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Vikings have waived Jackson. Pelissero tweeted, “The #Vikings are waiving WR Trishton Jackson, per source.
