MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Vikings' center competition appears to be headed toward a resolution, and that resolution could lead to a change of scenery for center John Sullivan.
According to a league source, center Joe Berger won't play on Thursday night in the team's preseason finale with the Los Angeles Rams, after starting the third preseason game against the San Diego Chargers and playing the first half. Sullivan is on the trading block, according to USA Today. The Vikings, who acquired Nick Easton from the San Francisco 49ers in a trade last October, played the Harvard product with the second-team offense on Sunday.
