Since debuting new uniforms in 2013, the Minnesota Vikings haven’t ever turned back the clock for one game and worn a throwback uniform. It’s a bit of a surprise given how long the Vikings have been an NFL franchise (since 1961).
Minnesota took part in the league’s Color Rush uniform fiasco in 2016. But for some reason, they haven’t sported any of their old uniform designs during a matchup since the 2011 season.
However, recent uniform news about a fellow member of the NFC North may indicate that some throwback threads could be in the works for the Vikings for the upcoming season.
