The first round of the 2017 NFL draft might have been a bit boring for us Minnesota Vikings fans, but if you are a betting man (by the way, you can find NFL betting here if you are interested), I would put some money on the idea that Rick Spielman and the Vikings will try to make a splash in the next couple of days.
The Vikings had given up their first round pick this year to acquire Sam Bradford from the Eagles last year after quarterback Teddy Bridgewater went down with an injury. Despite the fact that last year’s 8-8 record was a disappointment (especially after a 5-0 start), I still think the move to get Bradford was smart… especially when considering that Bridgewater will likely not be ready at the start of this season… if at all.
