After two weeks of the season, the Minnesota Vikings have used their 2021 rookies the least out of any team in the NFL. Rookies have combined for just four offensive and defensive snaps so far, and all four came in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals. All four went to wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette. It shouldn’t be a surprise to Vikings fans or anyone else. This is the team that started Bisi Johnson over Justin Jefferson for two weeks last season.
