Last night, I sat down with our friend Larry Deal from the Bears Talk Underground podcast as part of his series of season previews of Chicago’s opponents for this year. The episode will be out next week, but part of the interview we did has my mind wondering a bit.
Not “wandering,” though my mind does plenty of that on its own.
We started talking about Kellen Mond and the rest of the Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback situation, and we wondered whether or not Mond would be the backup this year. Something in my brain told me that the Vikings had once again brought back veteran Sean Mannion and that he would be the #2 quarterback while Mond would slot in at #3.
