With a new need to add more depth to their defensive line after the recent decision by Michael Pierce to opt-out of the 2020 season, the Minnesota Vikings decided to make a trade on Monday.
In exchange for defensive tackle P.J. Hall, the Vikings sent a conditional seventh-round draft pick to the Las Vegas Raiders. If Hall doesn’t end up being active for at least six games this year, however, then Minnesota doesn’t owe the Raiders a seventh-round draft selection.
It’s a low-risk move that has the potential to turn into something good for the Vikings.
