With everything else that was going on this past Thursday night while the Minnesota Vikings were defeating the Washington Redskins, there was one very important moment that we didn’t get to see.
At halftime of the Vikings’ 19-9 victory on Thursday Night Football, the team made former tight end Steve Jordan the 25th person inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor. Unfortunately, FOX and the NFL Network were unable to air the ceremony, but the team was kind enough to put it up on their official website.
Jordan was there with his family, including his son, New Orleans Saints’ defensive end Cameron Jordan, who was wearing one of his father’s old Pro Bowl jerseys.
