EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson leads the NFL in rushing with three weeks left in his return to the NFL. And if there are people out there who still see him as a "villain," following his indictment on child injury charges last year, Peterson said he doesn't pay much attention to them.
Asked if 2015 has been a season of redemption for him, following his NFL suspension last year, Peterson said, "I would say yeah, but not for people on the outside painting me as a villain. These people don't know me. It's real hard for me as an individual, as a person, as a human being, to judge someone based off the perception of a situation, without knowing details, without knowing any facts.
