Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press reports that the Vikings are bringing in free agent RB David Cobb for a workout following the news that Bishop Sankey is out for the season with an ACL tear.
Cobb, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Titans last year. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,252,668 rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season when he was cut by the Titans in the final week of the preseason.
The Steelers later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the season only to cut him loose in October of last year.
