EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings brought in two defensive tackles for tryouts on Tuesday, in a sign they could be concerned about their depth at the position with nose tackle Linval Joseph still out with a foot injury.
Former Cleveland Browns nose tackle Phil Taylor worked out for the Vikings on Tuesday, after the Browns released him in September following his rehab from a knee injury. The 21st overall pick in the 2011 draft, Taylor had four sacks as a rookie for the Browns, but struggled with injuries and never made a major impact after that.
