EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings should have running back Jerick McKinnon back on the field Sunday against the Detroit Lions, but they're still apparently on the hunt for running back depth.
The team worked out former running back Jonas Gray on Friday, taking a look at the former New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars running back. The 26-year-old also worked out for the Dolphins earlier in the week and could get a shot in Minnesota if the Vikings think he can provide a spark to their underwhelming running game.
