Vikings waive Holton Hill from injured reserve

The Minnesota Vikings’ tenure of cornerback Holton Hill has reached its end.

Today, the team announced that they have waived the cornerback from their injured reserve list. He had only appeared in four games this season before a foot injury put him on the shelf.

Hill was signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent from the University of Texas after the 2018 NFL Draft. He appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings as a rookie, picking up one interception. He missed the first half of the 2019 season because of a pair of 4-game suspensions.
