With their bye week about to come to an end, the Minnesota Vikings have made a roster move along their defensive front that might be a bit of a head-scratcher.
The team has announced that they have waived defensive lineman Jalen Redmond. The move leaves them a bit thin on the defensive line with just five players on the current roster at the position.
Redmond signed with the Vikings after a short but successful stint in the United Football League during the spring. He played well for the Arlington Renegades and managed to parlay that into a spot with the Vikings.
