1. KEEP TEDDY CLEAN: That's the rallying cry of Minnesota's offensive line after giving up five sacks in Monday's 20-3 loss at San Francisco. The Vikings want to keep plenty of grime off the jersey of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who was sacked 12 times in two games last year against Detroit. There remains plenty of concern about the line after right tackle Phil Loadholt suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in the preseason and a back problem sidelined center John Sullivan for at least seven games.
2. PROGRESS WITH PETERSON: Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson is clearly more comfortable with his quarterback behind center rather than running out of the shotgun, which he had to adjust to against the 49ers.
