Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson has been in Hennepin County court this week on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing and disorderly conduct. A source said Thursday a verdict in the jury trial is likely to come Friday.
Johnson was arrested Oct. 5, 2014, outside Seven Steakhouse in Minneapolis for allegedly refusing to leave when the restaurant closed. He was pepper sprayed and stunned with a Taser by police.
Johnson's agent, Bardia Ghahremani, claimed police violated Johnson's rights, and the agent had released a cellphone video, purportedly shot by Johnson, that Ghahremani said provides evidence of Johnson's innocence.
