Just minutes after trading down from the 119th overall pick to take DB Jay Ward at No. 134, the Minnesota Vikings have decided to move back up the draft board, swinging a deal with the Indianapolis Colts to take over the 141st overall pick. In exchange, the Colts have received picks 158 and 211 from the Vikings.
With that 141st pick, the Vikings select LSU NT Jaquelin Roy, a run-stopping force in the middle of the defensive line who has one of the best motor in the class at the position. By making this selection, Minnesota finally addresses their need on the interior defensive line.
