Vikings' Tom Johnson cleared by jury in disorderly conduct trial

Vikings defensive tackle Tom Johnson was found not guilty Friday in Hennepin County court on misdemeanor charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct, his attorney said.

Lawyer David Valentini said the jury needed just 15 minutes to reach its verdict.

"He's very, very happy," Valentini said. "He feels he didn't do anything wrong."

Johnson was arrested Oct. 5, 2014 outside Seven Steakhouse in Minneapolis for allegedly refusing to leave when the restaurant closed. He was pepper sprayed and stunned with a Taser by police.

Johnson's agent, Bardia Ghahremani, claimed police violated Johnson's rights and released a cell phone video, purportedly shot by Johnson, that Ghahremani said proved Johnson's innocence.
