MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Vikings will be returning to London in 2017.
The NFL announced the Vikings will play the Cleveland Browns at Twickenham Stadium on Oct. 22 or Oct. 29, moving a game that was scheduled to be in Cleveland overseas. The Vikings beat the Pittsburgh Steelers at Wembley Stadium on Sept. 30, 2013, but unlike that season -- when the Vikings gave up a home game while playing their final year at the Metrodome -- they will be going as the road team.
The announcement also means the Vikings will have a later bye week in 2017 than they had this year, when they were off in Week 6.
