Vikings to interview Tyke Tolbert for Offensive Coordinator position

We haven’t heard a lot as far as the search for a new offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings yet, but a new name has surfaced as the team looks to replace Gary Kubiak.

Per numerous reports, the Vikings will be bringing in New York Giants’ wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert to interview for the job.

According to our friends at Big Blue View, Tolbert has been a receivers coach in the NFL since 2003 and has never before been a coordinator at any level. He does, however, have ties to Gary Kubiak, as he was the receivers coach for the Denver Broncos in 2015 and 2016, when Kubiak coached the team to a victory in Super Bowl 50.
