Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been sacked 30 times this season. It could be a lot worse.
Bridgewater's elusiveness has kept many plays alive, and when he decides to run it can give Minnesota an intriguing weapon. In Sunday's 30-13 loss to Green Bay, Bridgewater was sacked six times, but he escaped the beating on several occasions and rushed for a career-high 43 yards on four carries.
Over the past four games, Bridgewater has carried 11 times for 104 yards, an impressive yards per-carry average of 9.5. Bridgewater isn't planning to take off more but said Wednesday it can provide an important dimension.
