The death of a construction worker on the Minnesota Vikings' new stadium occurred after he slid down a roof, broke through a guardrail and fell to an elevated platform below, said a report released Tuesday on the state Department of Labor and Industry's fatality investigation page.
Jeramie Gruber, 35, of Northfield, Minn., died in the downtown Minneapolis accident last week. The roofer who survived struck a post and it stopped his fall, the report said.
The report came from the Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration Division, which is continuing its investigation.
The accident occurred at 7:45 a.
