Football is back. . .a little bit.
Today, some of the newest Minnesota Vikings took to the field at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan as the purple kicked off their rookie minicamp. Before the action got underway, however, three young men who were drafted by the Vikings a couple of weeks ago put pen to paper on their first National Football League contracts.
The three rookies that signed were the last three players the Vikings landed from the selection meeting: Alabama kicker Will Reichard, Wake Forest offensive lineman Michael Jurgens, and Texas A&M-Commerce defensive lineman Levi Drake Rodriguez.
