EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Vikings on Tuesday announced the signing of offensive lineman Freddie Tagaloa and the release of defensive lineman B.J. DuBose.
Tagaloa (pronounced tag-uh-LOH-ah) played for the Arizona Wildcats in 2015-16 and participated in the Vikings rookie minicamp earlier this month on a tryout basis.
A native of Richmond, California, Tagaloa began his college career for the California Golden Bears, appearing in 23 games and playing left and right tackle from 2012-13. He was chosen as a team captain in his sophomore season. Tagaloa sat out in 2014 per NCAA transfer rules before returning to action and played left tackle and left guard, appearing in 17 games for the Wildcats.
