Vikings wide receiver Jarius Wright flashed a big smile Thursday. That wasn't surprising since he had just gotten a big raise.
Wright, who signed a four-year, $2.5 million contract in 2012 as a fourth-round draft pick, signed a four-year, $14.8 million extension. The new deal takes him through the 2019 season.
"The money's good, but it feels good to know that I'll be here next year getting a chance to play with most of the guys that I have been with for four years," Wright said. "Being back with the Minnesota Vikings is my main priority."
Wright, 25, spoke earlier this year about wanting the security of a contract extension.
