MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Vikings have signed Moritz Boehringer, their sixth round draft pick.
Boehringer is not only the first Vikings draft pick to sign a contract, but the first pick in the 2016 NFL draft to sign.
The German wide receiver was the first ever player to be drafted directly from Europe. The Vikings took him with the 180th overall pick. The 6-foot-4, 229 pound prospect caught teams’ attention when he ran a 4.43 40 yard dash at his pro day.
