GLENDALE, Ariz. -- It stood to reason the Minnesota Vikings would once again feature Adrian Peterson in their offense on Thursday night against the Arizona Cardinals, after giving him just eight carries on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. The Vikings needed to do something to hold back an aggressive Cardinals pass rush, and Peterson -- who vented about his lack of carries on Sunday -- represented their best option.
The running back praised the Vikings' game plan several times after Thursday's 23-20 loss, and when asked what he liked about it, he said, "It was just diverse -- good plays.
