Vikings: Sharrif Floyd won't play Sunday in Detroit

Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd has been ruled out of Sunday's game at Detroit because of knee and ankle injuries.

Floyd, hurt in last week's 16-10 victory over Kansas City, did not practice all week. He will be replaced in the starting lineup by Tom Johnson.

Floyd talked before the season about wanting to stay healthy, and he played in the first five games after missing two games last season and being sidelined for parts of several others because of injury.

Also listed on the injury report as out Sunday was defensive end Justin Trattou, who has a sprained left ankle.
