Vikings rule Joe Berger out for Thursday vs. Cowboys; Sam Bradford ready to play

MINNEAPOLIS -- Center Joe Berger won't play for the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night against the Dallas Cowboys because of the concussion he sustained last Thursday against the Detroit Lions.

The Vikings ruled Berger out, along with punt returner Marcus Sherels and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd. Cornerback Mackensie Alexander is doubtful with the groin injury that limited him in practice all week, while wide receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) and cornerback Terence Newman (neck) are questionable.

With Berger out, Nick Easton will get his first start at center.
