Teddy Bridgewater isn't a rookie anymore and already, apparently, more of a leader.
The mild-mannered Vikings quarterback wasn't particularly vocal last season, even after moving into the starting lineup in the fourth game. And even as he put together a season that earned him the Pepsi Rookie of the Year Award.
Now, he says, he can feel teammates waiting for him to speak up.
"Guys kind of push you into that leadership role,'' Bridgewater said Wednesday. "I'm a young guy still on the team, but guys are pushing me forward to say something in the huddle, or break the team down, or break the offense down.
