NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A nightmare of a preseason didn't get a lot better Thursday for Vikings kicker Blair Walsh.
In Minnesota's 24-17 loss to Tennessee at Nissan Stadium, Walsh missed a field goal for the third straight game. In his three-year career, Walsh has never had a streak like that in the regular season.
Walsh missed a 48-yard field goal wide right in the first quarter. He came back to make a 33-yarder in the second quarter. He finished the preseason 5 of 11 on field goals.
"Blair is our kicker, OK," Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said after the game.
