MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Both Minnesota Vikings’ offensive tackle Matt Kalil and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd have undergone successful surgeries this week.
The team announced that Kalil underwent surgery Friday morning to repair his labrum tear in his right hip. Team physician Chris Larson performed the procedure at Twin Cities Othopedics.
On Thursday, Floyd had a right knee arthroscopy, performed by Dr. James Andrews at the Andrews Institute in Pensacola, Florida. Floyd’s availability for the rest of the season is in question.
Kalil was placed on the injured/reserved list due to his hip and is likely out for the entire season.
