The Vikings on Thursday were announced as the recipient of the 2017 Shorty Award in the “Best Use of Vine” category.
The award honors the most effective and creative campaigns optimized for Vine, a platform that allows artists to create unique content through short, looping videos.
Previous winners in the Vine category, which was initiated in 2014, included Disney, Mashable and Oreo.
"This is a tremendous honor for the organization and everyone who was involved with Vinekings,” said Scott Kegley, Vikings Executive Director of Digital Media & Innovation.
