EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson missed his fourth consecutive practice on Wednesday, and his status for the team's season finale against the Chicago Bears remains in doubt.
Peterson did not play in the Vikings' 38-25 loss to the Green Bay Packers last Saturday because of knee and groin injuries, after returning from a torn meniscus the previous week against the Indianapolis Colts. He said last week that he came out of the Colts game with only minor "nicks," but added his focus was on getting healthy as soon as possible.
