This preseason, young Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was lost for at least the 2016 season when he suffered a devastating knee injury during practice. The dislocation required surgery in early September including multi-ligament reconstruction, putting his future in question.
While that all seems like a lot to swallow for a man some were calling the future face of the franchise, the road to recovery will now be marked with milestones. Recently, one of those milestones was reached after only 8 weeks of recovery.
Things are looking up for the former Minnesota first round pick according to Ben Goessling, ESPN Staff Writer, who recounted a conversation between Vikings athletic trainer Eric Sugarman and Lisa Salters in regards to Teddy Bridgewater’s condition:
