The Minnesota Vikings inked an agreement yesterday to purchase land in Eagan, Minnesota. The patch of land is 185 acres and used to be the home of Northwest Airlines. Soon, it could serve as the home of the Minnesota Vikings corporate team as well as a practice field.
Currently, Eden Prairie is the home of Vikings headquarters. However, the Winter Park facility has become sorely out of date and instead of working on improving the current spot with expensive and time-consuming renovations, the team will likely move their headquarters out to the Eagan site.
Vikings vice president Lester Bagley recently spoke about the Winter Park facility in an interview yesterday on the Star Tribune website.
